STEWARDSHIP

NEWS

 FROM THE STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE

 BY CHAIRMAN LEAH OLSEN

This year's pledge campaign was

"Be a Joyful, Generous and Cheerful Giver."

The commitment response this year has been slow as it has been for the last few years. Eash of us must set an example by mailing in our pledge cards and being stead-fast in our keeping that promise to God. The Church runs on a budget, just like our homes. If we neglect to pay our bills, what happens? We all know the answer. Please, if you have not already sent it in, do so now so we can make an acurate accounting of what we have. Your pledges are what make up the 2024 budget. If you haven't responded because you want to wait and see what happens, you are making a serious mistake. You put the Church in jeopardy, If you don't act now, there will be no future. We need your support now. You must act in faith not sight. Don't be a doubting Thomas. Believed we will grow and with your pledge we will.

This year we are trying something new by having STEWARDSHIP  in the forefront all year long, as it should be. We should never stop working for God. We do this by using our Time, Talents and Treasures to do the work of our Lord.

The committee will have a power point presentation at our Copffee hour at a future date to address the word " Stewardship" and what it really should mean to us.

A platform has been set-up for e-giving on this Website as you can see. It is on the dashboard with Stewardship. During our power point we will go into how to give on this site and answer your questions.

We are looking for new members who would be fulfilled by working on this important Ministry at St. Peter's Church. Won't you share your time and talents with us?

Thank you, Chairman, Leah Olsen
