<p><strong>Vestry meeting date changed from Feb. 19 to Feb. 12 </strong>due to the Presidents’ Day holiday.<strong> </strong>The commissioning of the new members will also take place on Sunday the 12<sup>th</sup>.</p>

<p><strong>Looking for a unique and special gift for Valentine&#8217;s Day or a birthday? </strong>Then give the gift of spiritual nurture and rest with the <strong>Lenten Retreat, February 24 – 25, </strong>led by Father Howie. This time in community, but away from the regular routine, is a wonderful way to nourish the spiritual lives of those we love.  <strong>Retreat cost is $100 and includes meals and overnight accommodations.</strong>  Please see Father Howie or call the church office if you plan to attend or would like to give it as a gift.</p>

<p><strong>The annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 6 pm</strong>.  Adults $10, children 5-12 $6, children under 5 free.</p>

<p><strong>Calling all Singers!  </strong>Janine will be hosting a Broadway and Opera music Cabaret on Sunday, May 6 at 3 pm. If you are interested in showing off your hidden talents, there is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board. All are welcome!</p>

<p><strong>Good News! 59 pledges totaling $141,407 have been received for St. Peter&#8217;s ministries in 2012.</strong>  Thank you to all who have already made a commitment.   If you have yet to make your commitment for next year, please take the time to complete a pledge card.  Pledge cards are available in the narthex. Return your cards in the collection basket or to the church office.</p>

<p><strong>Inclement Weather Information – </strong>Church closings due to inclement weather will be announced on WHUD FM radio station 100.7 and on WHUD.com. If a service or activity is not listed there, then the church event will proceed as scheduled.</p>

<p><strong>We are continuing the recycling of your empty computer printer ink and toner cartridges this year,</strong> to help offset our office supplies costs<strong>. </strong>  Please continue to drop them off in the narthex or the church office. <p><strong>David Grey </strong>has been a parishioner of St. Peter’s since the late 1980’s and is currently a member of the vestry for the second time, having served two terms in the early 2000’s. He is also a member of the Properties committee and choir. His wife Sonia and children Courtney and Brian are also parishioners. David would be honored to continue serving on the Vestry.</p>

<p><strong>John Hanley</strong> has been a devoted parishioner of St. Peter’s for almost two years along with his wife Linda and son Sean. He has been active in Mission and Outreach’s Third Thursday dinners and Fred’s Food Pantry. He is working with the Properties Committee helping repair the church and gather estimates for new heating systems. He is also on the choir and would like to further serve St. Peter’s by being elected to the vestry.</p>

<p><strong>Rudy Larson</strong> has been a member of St. Peter’s for over 16 years along with his wife Rose and youngest son, Ian. He has been active in the Noontime Meals Program and Third Thursday Dinner program. He can often be seen volunteering his time and talents doing plumbing and heating repairs throughout the St. Peter’s properties. Rudy is grateful for the opportunity to continue to share through the ministry of Vestry.</p>

<p><strong>Ellie Moshier</strong> has been a member of St. Peter’s for 20 years along with her husband David. She is active as an usher and acolyte and is a member of the Mission and Outreach Committee. For the past three years Ellie has very successfully served as a co-chairman of the fundraising committee for PLAC and would be honored to serve on the vestry.</p>

Pledge cards are available in the narthex. Return your cards in the collection basket or to the church office.</p>

<p><strong>The Prayer Shawl Ministry is open to everyone</strong> even if you don&#8217;t have the time to attend the meetings. Shawls can be created at home on your own time and at your own speed. The Prayer Shawl Ministry offers a warm, soft, hand-knit or crocheted shawl to those that are sick in body or in spirit. Made by members and friends of the parish, the shawls are a way of surrounding the recipient with prayer and the love of the parish family.  If interested in participating, please speak to Ann Roberts or Connie Dyckman. <strong>Donations of yarn gladly accepted.</strong></p>

<p>ham Room for a conversation about the Indaba Pilot Project that Mother Carlye is participating in.  This session will focus on the Anglican Communion and the recent meeting of the three teams in the Diocese of Darby.</p>

The following three items are always in short supply in the pantry:  1-2 lbs. bags of rice, canned fruit and 100% juices in plastic bottles or cans.</p>
